Mr. Peres joined Moneta in August 2008 and has over 15 years experience in capital markets, the resource sector and retail and institutional financing. He has been involved in over 200 financings in the resource sector and has a track record of generating substantial shareholder value. Mr. Peres was the former Chief Financial Officer and Director of Energy Fuels Inc. (TSX: EFR) which completed a $30M institutional financing used to transform the company from a $3M market capitalization exploration company into a $250M near-term uranium producer. Most recently, Mr. Peres was Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of a Toronto-based merchant bank specializing in the equity financing of small cap mining companies. He is a Chartered Accountant who articled with Deloitte & Touche LLP.
